The Head Youtek Radical OS is a frame that could easily sneek under the radar but as soon as we saw the specifications on this frame we knew it was a must have.

At 107 sq inches in headsize you wouldn't expect to see a thin beam, close to even balance and swingweight of 320. This frame is a must hit for talented juniors with 2 hand backhands or Club players seeking a little more pop than your average tweener frame.

The 107 Radical series was made famous by Agassi when he changed to the larger Head size to get the extra pop on his serve throughout the later years in his career. This is a must hit frame for the 2010/11 season for players looking to take their game to the next level.

TECHNOLOGIES: 
Youtek adds the benefit of New smart d3o enhancing power, control and feel. D3o behaves differently on different shots fluctuating to maximize performance. High-speed impact locks the d3o molecules together, to provide maximum power by stiffening the frame. Equally, on slower speed shots, d3o provides a softer touch for better feel, as the molecules absorb the impact. 
The Radical OS also uses a DuPont Teflon grommet system that reduces string friction. Less friction means maintaining more of the strings energy, and a resulting slight increase in power and durability.

We enjoyed the easily found spin and control making controlling depth a breeze while still maintaining ample power for hitting deep from the baseline off a medium to full swing. The dense string pattern further enhances control enough for even aggressive players. At net the Youtek Radical Oversize feels lightning fast with a slightly head light balance. The oversize head provides a generous sweetspot, helping hit a strong volley with easy angling of shots. At the net we were impressed by the touch and feel from this racquet. Serving delivers more of the same with ample pace balanced by solid directional control.

This control and feel oriented frame has more forgiveness than most players frames making it an impressive option for the intermediate to advanced level player.
