FAQ's

Why do you guys have such low prices?
Our business is primarily web based and therefore does not incur the same day to day operating costs as a retail store. This allows us to offer you great prices.

How much will I be stung for a courier?
A fee of $6 is charged for all New Zealand deliveries except for orders over $100 which ship freight FREE. We use the TOLL Courier Service and if the order is received before 12pm we ship it out same day (if the product is in stock). Main centres will usually get their orders next working day but it may take two working days if your not in a main centre or are in Christchurch or lower down the South Island. Rural deliveries will take an extra day.  

Do you ship outside of New Zealand?
We ship to all New Zealand address locations. Currently we can not ship international orders with address locations outside New Zealand. If you live outside New Zealand and wish to place an order please email: sales@thumpsports.co.nz 

Does Thump Sports offer warranties?
Yes all products come with manufacturer warranties. Please see our Terms and Conditions.

Are the displayed product images actual photographs of the product being sold?
While we do photograph a lot of products being sold through our website many photos used are supplied by our suppliers or manufacturers. Therefore all imagery shown on this site should be regarded as a visual example of the product being sold. All used product such as Ex-Demo racquets will be clearly identified. If customers seek more information or additional imagery please call 0800 484 867 or email sales@thumpsports.co.nz.

Are your racquets pre-strung?
All adult sized racquets are supplied strung unless otherwise stated. All Junior racquets are pre-strung by their respective manufacturers. This string can be replaced should you choose one of our listed strings in the string selector tool.

I saw something online that you guys don’t have. Can you get it? 
There is a good chance one of our suppliers may have the product your after. Simply send an email to quote@thumpsports.co.nz include a product description and quantity. We will have a reply back to you asap. If the goods can be sourced and you agree to the terms and conditions of the order, you should receive delivery within 2 days.

How do I place an online order? 
Our site has been setup to make online shopping and ordering simple and safe. To make a purchase simply click through to the product you are interested in and click "Add to Cart". Then simply follow the prompts through the checkout process.

Once we receive your order, an order confirmation email will be sent. This email will contain product price, quantities ordered, shipping costs, and shipping address as supplied in your registration details. Please ensure you registered email address is correct and active to receive this email/receipt.

What kind of payment methods does Thump Sports accept?

Does Thump Sports have shops? 
Absolutely, please see “Our Pro Shops” page for details and locations

Do you offer discounted prices to coaches, clubs, schools or other learning institutions? 
Yes. If you are an accredited tennis coach, affiliated NZ club or registered learning institution please send an email to sales@thumpsports.co.nz. Supply us with your details and the products you're interested in. Upon confirming your identity, we will email you back with our discounted prices.

Where will my stuff be shipped from? 
Orders are primarily fulfilled at our Wellington packing location however when it is faster to dispatch goods from a local store this may also happen.

RETURNS AND WARRANTY

Returns Policy

We want you to be fully satisfied with every item you purchase from us. If the items are not the right size or fit, we are happy to exchange them or give you a store credit within 1 month after receiving them.

Footwear

We are unable to accept returned orders where the shoes have been worn or damaged after purchase, so we recommend trying your shoes on inside on a carpeted surface to ensure you’ve chosen the best size. We cannot exchange shoes that have been worn on a hard surface.

If, for whatever reason, you are not satisfied with your shoes, we will accept returns for store credit/exchange if the following conditions are met: 

  • All items must be unworn (except to try on)
  • All items must be in their original packaging

Clothing

You can return clothing items provided the following conditions are met:

  • All clothing items must have their original tags still attached
  • All clothing items are unmarked and have only been worn to try on.
  • We cannot accept returns or exchanges on swimwear items

Racquets

Any racquet exchanges must be returned with the plastic on the handle as well as the promotional material attached to the string. If the racquet has been hit with and there is ball fluff on the strings we will be unable to exchange the item.

How to return/exchange an item

Return postage is covered by the customer, but we will not ask you to pay for shipping again if you choose to exchange your order for a different size or style.

You should expect to receive confirmation within two working days one we have received it. 

Warranty

All racquets we sell come with the suppliers one year guarantee provided the racquet has not come into contact with anything other than a tennis ball.

All other gear comes with the usual protection under the Consumer Guarantees Act. It will vary from product to product.
