TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TAX
ALL prices displayed are in New Zealand dollars and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 12.5%.

SHIPPING AND HANDLING
A fee of $5 is charged for all New Zealand deliveries except for orders over $150 which are shipped for FREE. For non New Zealand deliveries shipping costs are charged at market rates. 

DELIVERY
As specified in the New Zealand Carriage of Goods Act 1979 we will make a contract to deliver the specified good to the address indicated. The carrier has limited risk under this Act. Should something become damaged upon delivery please let us know immediately. All claims must be made to the carrier within seven days of the delivery date. You must notify us at least 5 days from the delivery date to ensure that we can take this up with the carrier concerned.

Most goods are sent via Courier post and we charge a flat fee for their services. Some larger products such as ball machines and stringing machines may be sent via a freight forwarding company or delivered by Thump Sports representatives. For orders placed by 2pm we aim for delivery overnight to North Island addresses and within 2 days for South Island and rural deliveries.

Please supply physical addresses only. We cannot courier to PO Boxes.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
The Thump Sports website has been specifically setup to service the New Zealand market. At this time International orders are not catered for online. International orders can however be manually processed so feel welcome to send your order request to info@thumpsports.co.nz

STOCK AVAILABILTY
All items in stock will ship within a 24 hour period. Whilst we do carry a very large stock inventory there will be the rare occasion a product might go out of stock. If goods you have ordered are out of stock, items may take up to 14 days to be delivered.

When items are on backorder we will advise you immediately and you will be able to choose either to wait, request a rain check, product exchange or refund. If the out of stock item is only part of your order - we are happy to send you a part delivery. The out of stock item/s will then be delivered as they arrive and on such occasions Thump Sports will cover the out of stock item/s shipping costs.

Sometimes orders may be delayed, particularly if the product that you ordered is on backorder with our suppliers. In the event that your product has become unavailable from the manufacturer, Thump Sports is happy to refund your money or provide you with an agreed alternate product.

PAYMENT METHODS
Payment for products on our website can be made by the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard and Bankcard. We also accept payment by direct credit, direct bank transfers or cheques.

Credit Card Payment:
All credit card transactions made via our website are made directly through a secure online payment facility hosted and operated by the National Bank of New Zealand. Thump Sports will not see your credit card details. Simply add to your shopping cart items you would like to purchase, then proceed to the checkout. Just follow the instructions and your Credit Card payment will occur securely online and in real time.

Payment via Direct Credit or Internet Banking:
If you wish to pay via direct credit or internet banking, you are able to choose this payment method via our online store at checkout time. Your order will ship as soon as we can confirm your payment. Please be aware that it takes at least 24 hours for direct credits to show in our account. Direct Credit orders will be automatically cancelled after three working days of non-payment.

Payment by Cheque:
If you wish to pay via cheque, simply order through our online store as usual and at checkout time you will be automatically emailed instructions about how to make payment for your order. Please note that it will take 7 days for cheques to clear once we bank them. We will not courier the goods until the cheque is cleared. Cheque Payment orders will be automatically cancelled after five working days of non-payment.

GUARANTEES
As well as the protection all customers have under the Consumer Guarantees Act, all products are also covered by their manufacturer's guarantee.

If you find a product purchased from Thump Sports is faulty, please email us immediately so we can advise you of the best course of action for warranty service. The warranty covers circumstances where a product develops defects due to a flaw in the material or manufacturing process. Please note that for tennis racquets, the warranty does not cover deliberate or accidental damage caused by hitting the ground, net posts, fences or anything other than a tennis ball. We rely on our reputation and will take all reasonable steps to ensure a satisfactory resolution. Please note that our total liability will be limited to the value of the product. We will not reimburse for any consequential damage whatsoever.

If you believe you have a valid warranty claim, simply contact us. Thump Sports will provide you with return instructions and then examine the product to determine whether your warranty claim is valid. If Thump Sports believes your claim is valid, we will replace your product or parts for multi-component items; such as ball machines and stringing machines. In the event the product is no longer in production, an equivalent product may be provided as an alternative.

Goods returned for reasons other than for warranty replacement MUST be in re-sellable order unopened, undamaged and complete. If you have made the incorrect choice, you must return the item in 5 working days whereby we will refund or swap the item. You will be responsible for the freight cost back to us. If you require a swap, we will pay for the cost of the courier back to you.

INVOICES / RECEIPTS
Your order confirmation email including a GST number is automatically sent at the completion of every order. A printed receipt is supplied with all orders.
